Facebook abuser doesn't deserve prison

"Hacking" into the accounts has to be a criminal offence. And what about the kiddie porn???
 
Eeeesh.. The "security" questions, and answers, in case you lose your log-on details. Not so secure after all.

One blindly follows the helpful instructions on many big websites, not realising it could be a major security weakness.

I wonder what other alternatives there are, to securely recover log-in details?
 
Imagine them telling the user that up front:
No, you don't need your password to login, your mother's maiden name will do.
 
Gotta love how his lawyer says he's "sweet and gentle". For a sex offender I suppose.
 
The idiots who let him take the photos should be suffering jail time, or at least sterilisation. Honestly if you don't want those pictures seen by anyone, don't let them be taken.
 
why put the photos on a social network, didn't they realise they if you are searching for friends you can look at photos and get them if they are public.

A good fallback is a physical contact method, like your cell phone.

If you can't log on, you can't just mother's maiden and log on, you need to MM and enter the 'one-time pin' from your cell to reset the password.
