Facebook protest

Legions of Facebook users united in protest on Monday, demanding that the world's most popular social networking service undo recent changes to its home page.

Guys drop everything! Peace in the Middle East; feeding the starving African nations; protecting the environment; nothing compares to a Facebook redesign! To arms!

They should have stopped after the first change to the original facebook (the one that added tabs to people's pages instead of loading everything on one page).

They completely screwed it up when they started trying to emulate Twitter with the homepage. I hardly even use it anymore because it's mainly just a bunch of status updates.

So youre saying you liked it more when it was like myspace? :D

I don't like it. makes you have to check two different pages to see what is going on... and some of the info is unique to each page and some of it is duplicated. I can see the reasoning behind the two different feeds, but it doesn't seem to be actually working the way they said it is supposed to work.

Anyway... if you want to change it back to what it used to be you can try this...

On the menu at the top left, click on MORE. Then drag STATUS UPDATES to the top, above NEWS FEED. After dragging to top, click on it. That becomes your default and HOME is like before.

Thanks for that tip, it was starting to irritate me big time...;)
