The Good

* Freedom to explore what you want, when you want
* Fantastic, intricate quests can be completed in a variety of satisfying ways
* VATS combat system results in all sorts of tense and gruesome encounters
* Outstanding art design makes for a desolate DC
* Rewarding mixture of excitement and atmospheric exploration.

The Bad

* The story and characters can feel a bit sterile
* Combat feels mildly clunky.

I haven't read through much of the review, nor have I watched the video interview because - let's face it - I don't want any spoilers.

Since GameSpot's given it a 9.0 and the user score of 786 have also given it a 9.0. I'm buying the Collector's Edition on Friday and going nuts :D

I'm back to being excited as hell and can't wait to play it :D
 
It shall be in my grasp next week :D Am still trying to decide if the CE is worth the extra R100 or so :o
 
rofl, it's not to take anywhere (but you never know some people), it's just a collectors item that ties in with the game man :D

I'm with you on this one, I think the extra few bucks are worth it. It's just nice to have and looks great on the shelf ;)
 
Collectors edition FTW!

Why own the same copy that everyone else has (normal edition) ?

I'd rather spend extra and have the goodies and be 'different' :D
 
I don't trust any of these main stream review sites. The only review site I trust when it comes to rpg's are gamebanshee and the rpg codex. Still getting it but I seriously doubt from what I have heard that its a 90% rpg game.

For me... It was a game that I loved :) An atmosphere that I've never experienced in any other game. And a level of depth that was just sublime! Fallout 3 either will or won't be the same... But so far it seems that those who've played it, love it. So, I'm going to give it a shot :D
