Fallout 3

Fallout 3 will descend from heaven on a golden chariot and gamers everywhere will rejoice and there will be world peace... the end
 
ja hey, its going to be a major letdown, reason being its not gonna be developed by Black Isle, rather Bethesda (Oblivion, Morrowind).

the game is going for a "broader" audience, meaning you cant even shoot someone in the groin, or children, which completely sucks and obviously means think that more mature X factors from previous black isle productions will be lacking.

Some folks are starting to claim that it looks like an Oblivion mod. Only thing is its only 50 percent of what OB consists of in terms of content.

Bottom line: imagine Spears re mastering a NIN album. Demographically speaking thats pretty much what were looking at here.

I hate the current state of the game industry. I really really do. They are going to cash in on a previously popular franchise just because they've got aloooot of money yet no talent for originality. :(

Hopefully GTA 4 will retain all it's original violence, crime and storyline.

At least we can look forward to that then. :D
 
With Bethesda at the helm I have no confidence that fallout 3 wll in anyway shape or form be what we hope. I have seen plenty of statements by Emil (lead designer) and Todd Howard (main man) which is utter tripe and aimed 100% at the gen x tards* cough :)

Supposed we can only hope its somewhat playable, but the best guess is it will be something like oblivion with guns. As the development is being done on their prefered system (x360) unfortunately multiple paths & choices and conversations is definately going to suffer badly ...darn.

Was on the site today,its looking awesome,i just hope its not too much of a system whore.Im kinda broke these days!
