Fallout 76

I had a raging boner for 76 and I would have bought it on launch and was sad I didn't have the money. Then I was glad I dodged a bullet but I was sad about the state of one of my favourite games of all time.

After seeing this my raging boner is restored.
HAPPY!

Here is a bit of gameplay,

Though Microsoft purchased Obsidian this is going to be published by Take-Two’s Private Division. I believe this was also originally planned to be an Xbox exclusive, but it is coming to PlayStations and Windows.

Fallout 76 is going for about R340 on CD Keys if anyone wants to buy it. Look it is not a great game, nor average, and I have my hours spent and lost. However, if it improves over time I will be happy to return.

My next multiplayer game is going to be Anthem.

Going to wait and see what happens with this, maybe after a year if it is still available and got some good fixes (and on special) might buy and mess around with it.
Don't hold your breath

They will not be fixing it and come next year nobody will be playing it

DOA litterally (well almost :p)

How much did you drop on this game again?

I recall you got a special for it?

Considering how many times they've released Skyrim and still haven't fixed a lot of the bugs yeah I don't think this will get any better.

Skyrim is finished, but an unpolished game. Fallout 76 is BETA and very broken, and they are denying it to be rushed to market. I still say that the launch coincided with Black Friday/Cyber Monday. They knew it was in a bad state, launched it close to global deals phenomena, experienced poor sales and discounted the game accordingly.

Since the bag debacle, it has become public notice that they had many influencers for promoting the game. They still have shills,

this game is going F2P soon... maybe 6-12 months, that is whether they abide by the business plan deviation they had with ESO.

Their help desk being temporarily visible won't help them at all.

Beta?

Naah

Have you played it? The netcode isn’t optimal by any means, the mechanics and aspects are broken and the servers aren’t stable.

Teams, which is the multiplayer component, is rubbish.

It is more a proof-of-concept than anything else.
I mean the beta excuse

When they had the BETA going, many who participated therein complained about the state the game was in at that time. Then they launched the game with exactly the same issues the many have experienced. Then a week into the launch they rolled out a patch larger than the game’s initial install to rehaul the resources and then still the same issues persisted.

Then they had the recent patch resolving some issues and causing other issues and which didn't resolve some issues they stated to be resolved. They also patched more than they made known on the patch notes, crippling elements that people didn’t even complain about. They remarked it as unintended issues… still, no patch notes on what they changed as a whole.

All they have to say now about the game is that millions are playing the game. Bethesda is extremely evasive on Fallout 76 and their customer service is not within good business practice.

I don't play at the moment because it is pretty much boredom without other people to play with because teams are broken.

I really don't know why some people are loving this game, it is not something I am able to grasp.

Thought you were defending the game xD

My bad

Down 81% in price on cd keys. 181 bucks from a grand, yeah Bethesda screwed the pooch with this one.

Still not going to buy it - maybe if it comes down to R10 bucks I *might* consider it...

Nah then Bethesda will make the price of their extras 100 times more

Cosmetics are already bloody expensive, but you can grind it out... The worst game I bought in recent years. I am waiting on the Anthem pre-beta now.
