Here's an early review

8.5 Presentation
Intuitive user interface. Makes effective use of the first-person perspective. Quest structure can get repetitive, story takes a while to really get going.

9.0 Graphics
Some dazzling lighting effects, great weapon models, lush environmental visuals, and smooth overall performance. Character models can look pretty bland and generic.

9.0 Sound
Terrific weapon effects and ambient sounds, a strong musical score and interesting enemy chatter during combat. Voice acting isn't particularly strong.

9.0 Gameplay
Solid shooting mechanics, a large arsenal that allows for plenty of different approaches to battle, and a sprawling world to explore.

9.0 Lasting Appeal
A standard multiplayer mode is buoyed by a fantastic map editor toolset with a gentle learning curve.

IGN/GAMESPY is part of the same group.While I havent read IGN's review,GAMESPY gave this game 3.5/5 stars.However the average rating adds up to about 8.6 or so...:o

Should score 9.5 here in South Africa, because of the "local" factor.

Well the reviews seem to range from 8.5 (Gamespot) to 94% (PC Gamer). That's freakin awesome people! What, if a game doesnt score perfect 10's it's not good enough? Anything above 8 as an average screams "must-buy" to me.
 
Right you are Kerrrang I'm sick of reviews seriously - why don't they just review the game and leave out the score, after all that score is only one guys opinion.

excuse the grammar,typing on my mobile.
Well i dont c why there wont be any local server.Everything else about the game is really local,eg.Violence.Crazy locals,guns.Disease.Carjacking.Bumpy roads,veld fires,smugling,lawlessness etc..
 
I loved the Jeep ride :)
They even speak Zulu and its great to understand it lol.
So far its terrific:)
 
Nope, but I understand a bit and so will you lol.
You can't not understand a bit if you were born in SA lol
Actually I found the graphics slightly better than Crysis somehow

Word is,overall,it isnt as "realistic" as crysis gfx wise,crysis is a small % better.But take into consideration that it isnt as demanding on your hardware,and offers a greater amount of variety in terms of its visuals and setting.Its a better engine imo.(excuse me for sounding like im turning this into a gfx debate...I dont have that intention.)just my opinion
