Farm Attacks

I dont recall 1 farm worker being tortured, could be wrong, even if it was a handful it still shows this is directed at the farm owners.
You obviously suckling your thumb to get your opinions because often farm workers both men and women are with the farmer or his family during an attack and the same treatment is dealt out to them, beaten/burnt/shot/stabbed etc.

so then when an entire farmer family gets tortured and murdered, then an entire farm worker community(or just 1 family) should also be tortured and murdered, since you are comparing it that way. same-same.

/sigh

Perhaps you should read my post again. Thugs look for easy pickings. Farms are easy pickings. Thugs descend to the farms and attack anything that gets in their way. They're persistent and would go as far as torturing family members if they believe you're hiding stuff from them. You've seen in articles what happens to farm workers who dare stand on their way. They're of little value to them thus, cannot be used to coerce the farmer into action. They usually just get shot.

and when nothing is stolen?

and when nothing is stolen?

In 1 or 2 instances I heard of where nothing was stolen, the crime was committed by disgruntled former employees or they were disturbed and panicked. I haven't heard of instances where complete strangers walked into a farmhouse, mowed everyone down and left as quickly as they came.

You have your head up your rear end son
The mere fact that they torture their victims is evidence of a hate crime

Thesis

Research referenced affirms my argument. I can't say the same about the commentary.
Any idea how to get hold of the MA thesis that the article references ?
Went to UL but the page for Digital Theses is not loading ?

Although no connection could be made between the incidents, local security companies believe that the incidents are linked.

The modus operandi in all three incidents was similar, also resembles that of the notorious Nyaope Gang, whose members were released from custody more than a month ago after allegedly terrorising the Muldersdrift Community.

Similar incidents have occurred in the area for the past two weeks, and community members are worried that the suspects will continue to do as they please because they don’t fear being arrested.

I always wonder on what basis they release these trespassers/invaders back into the public? It happens here as well, they only really keep the invaders in custody to be heard when a victim was assaulted or killed. Robberies where no one is harmed, man, they are hardly keep these suspects in custody… pending on the circumstances.
