A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy in Umlazi, Durban, is fighting for his life after his father allegedly shot him at point-blank range at school.

The man reportedly went to the boy’s classroom at Emafezini Primary School and asked to talk to him. When the teacher asked the boy if he knew the man, he said the man was his father.

Police spokesperson Bonginkosi Thabethe said as soon as the boy followed the man outside the classroom, a gunshot was heard.

“The child came crawling back into the classroom after he had been shot below his chin. The man fled the scene,” said Thabethe.

The man was later arrested and was expected to appear in the Umlazi magistrate’s court today.

That's just a bit messed up... Really hope the kid pulls through... Although I doubt that this is something you ever get over.
 
If he shagged the dad's sheep, he had it coming.

No you don't. Because it will be something like the kid stole his father's drug stash. Or screwed his wife. Or hasn't raped enough people yet.

Umlazi has the rural, tribal attitude and mentality of the Eastern Cape with the poverty and massive numbers of Soweto. It makes for some totally sick practices that are simply taken for granted there.

As said in the other thread, such young boys are often pressured by their failed, pathetic fathers/older brothers/friends to become just as pathetic as they are so that they would seem less pathetic.

Going to school can be considered "unmanly" or a crime or being selfish, just because those kids might actually want to become decent people one day, something their fathers and brothers and friends would never desire, rather choosing to riot and rape and wallow in their own waste.

It really is quite sad.

The boy could be claiming he was his father so he could be allowed to see him. Probably wasn't his father.


This IMO is a clear death penalty case since there is absolutely no doubt who the perpetrator is. The only way that he could avoid it is the motivating factor or a mental disorder

Nope, No Death penalty in this land! Probably will end up free in few months!
