Rectron tried that with me with a western digital product - did not work out too well for them at all.
I posted the story here, think i named the thread " western digital / Rectron warranty issues". But as usual mybb search cant find anything.
Thats fine. There is a sign of minimal heads deterioration (to many 50ms and two 150ms reads). However judgings from number of warnings, I think drive can be restored. Just be patient and stop bumping computer.
The first warning repeats on the second scan, it gives an indication that it is a real weak media spot, not a firmware corruption. As long firmware is healthy it will be remapped earlier or later.
To speed up this process, re-run scan with two options activated "Remap" and "Erase Delays", it should erase all warnings. If you are impatient, you can run selective scan around LBA value of warnings (+/-40960 by example). You can repeat it many times, but remember to run full default scan after, to make sure that warnings don't re-appear in other places!
BTW, Next time you post pictures remember to resize it to a smaller size.
Just use erase delays option, you don't need to preserve data. When all sectors are readable it should give the same result. Will check it, when I did it last time?Seems like i can't remap and erase delays at the same time?
Going to remap first
