I searched and there's no post like this!

Although I think having a dedicate favourite coffee (bean!!!!) thread is awesome.

We actually have a lot of coffee threads

So back to my coffee tasting update.

Rajuanse - I am not sure. This one might not work for me as an Espresso or Latte. But I have a feeling I will need to spend more time on this before the magic happens.

Relationship Blend - Wowees. Fruityness overkill and the nutty hangs around afterwords.

Los Naranjos - First you taste the Fruity and slight nutty and then the cocoa comes through and lingers for a while.

Deluxe Coffee - Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, mokka/Aeropress grind currently.
+1 for this if in Cape Town, it's quite cheap but good.

Here I am currently drinking one that is rather expensive, from Fenster Cafe in Vienna, 10 EUR/250g, so around double normal price, but beans are really nice and I don't drink as much as I used to.

been on a mission to try specifically readily available (read: can get in the local supermarket) coffee beans lately, a very hit and miss affair

used to be fairly happy with House of Coffees Italian blend, but it just didn't cut it anymore so I went through a few Truth and Origin roasts, mostly average and eventually complete shyte

then overcorrected to the other side of the price range, been trying the Checkers' foreign ground single origin range:
- Guatemala = shyte
- Colombia = shyte
- Brazil = quite acceptable actually
... still need to go through the rest

after a couple of days breakaway in Franschhoek some time ago I had Terbodore for the first time, was surprised to see it sold at Checkers as well. The Great Dane and This is Africa are both nice with This is Africa probably being my favourite coffee at the moment

only problem is I like it quite strong so the pack doesn't last very long

I also enjoy the Nescafe Gold
I drink 1 cup of coffee when I wake up before work and that's it.
On my off days and weekends, I don't drink coffee as I normally wake up fresh and ready for the day and then head out to climb mountains on a hike with my energy drinks and H2O

P.S. It was supposed to be a joke. I don't drink such low class concoction.
