Yes, too true. Thanks for the reality check. I think I also have better things to do with my time. Sorry your thread got derailed dude.
 
Why don't you give us a little more info, i mean seriously. Line speed and bandwidth used would be a good start.
 
I'll sort it out with Mweb. Nothing you can do about it. As I said, I'm going home. Will post update here though. Terumo <-- Nice rig.
 
Strange. The only time I ever had a problem was when Seacom was down. And I have been consistently doing between 110GB and 130GB pm (since uncapped was released at MWEB) on the 4mbps package (R539 pm). Sure, I'm not a "power" user, but I ain't a Telkom-3gigger either ;-)

Instead of talking to us, PM the MWEB rep. He should help. If that does not help, post a complaint on HelloPeter, that usually helps.

Do all this but whatever you do don't actually give tech support a call.
 
I'm quite happy with mweb, second month now, so far 11gigs on a 384 line this month and I've barely tried .

Have you been actively using your connection for an average of just over 7hours/day? I'm unemployed, like the internet and struggle to spend more than 4hours/day on the computer. So I think it's clear that you're in violation of the service T&Cs and MWEB will be in touch in due course.
