I tried out Fedora 15 yesterday and I might just be moving over to Gnome 3 :D My Fedora experience was greatly improved with a little app called FedoraPlus and the Gnome shell extensions make a major difference also. Now to get my TV card working.

Looks normal to me.

If you have used other nix in the past you will know its nothing new, for example take freebsd, uses its own thing, usually linked to the driver name.

Installed Fedora15 over the weekend... Its now going to officially replace my Ubuntu install :)

Same. However my main machine at home doubles as my htpc and unfortunately mythtv is a nightmare to get running on Fedora and I can't get irxevent to work with my remote on Fedora, so I have to use my FrankenBuntu install until I get my dedicated htpc setup going. I can't wait.

Installed it yesterday.+1 It is amazing!

Again, the lack of configuring is driving me up the walls.
I wonder who the devs are that thought this would be a good idea.

"Hey Joe, let's make it so that they can configure almost nothing. And let's lock the panels so that they can't move, delete, create or resize them!"
"Brilliant Mike, now why did we not think of this years ago?!"

I'm pretty sure that will come in time. Gnome 3 was just released.

If you want to move your panels and stuff around use the XFCE version of fedora :D
