Hi Guys

Me again:p

Seriously though, on Wednesday I am writing my or rather doing my Linux + practical.

Since my college can't be bothered to provide us with enough cd's/dvd's. I won't comment on the fact we have only been using Fedora 6.

Anyway I have both Fedora 7 and 9. Which do you think is more stable and reliable, which I can use for the exam.

Well I reckon Fedora 9 will probably be better...(newer, more up to date) etc...

9 had the problem of not including library header files. Not sure of later releases fixed this. 7 I found to be irritating. Ive been Running 8 for about 9 months now.

I currently have Fedora 8 on my desktop and Fedora 9 on my laptop.
Just been to lazy to update my desktop. :o

The only issue I had going from 7 to 8 was a problem with some new firewire core system which makes streaming videos in from a DV camera rather painful.

I haven't yet tested that in 9 because I don't have firewire on my laptop, but apart from that I've only noticed improvements in 9. :)
