Not amused...
I am not leaving her in her cot to cry until she falls asleep and there is no other way to train her to sleep at a decent time every evening. I have tried.
Firstly that is not exactly how it works. And secondly and most importantly: why NOT sleeptrain her? It is in her best interest, not yours. You just reap the benefits.
Also children do not have seperation anxiety at 15mnths. They are way too young. She is just craving attention and does not know how to entertain herself 'cos she is used to always be entertained.
My 16 mnt old dissapears all the time: alway bussy in older brothers room with puzzles or drawing or outside in the sandpit or sitting "reading" or playing music ( hitting buttons )on her "laptop" in her room. Only craves attention when tired or hungry.
She is sleeptrained so she has learned to be on her own with out being scared or stressed.
