So they dug a entire trench just to get fibre to you alone with no additional ducts to service houses passed in the future?

That is not very bright! Now they have to dig again, it's inevitable that the houses around you will get FTTH in the future, extra duct costs very little.

Who cares I want my internet nowI'm sure ducting will still be used for backhaul for FTTH seperate ducts would be needed too.
