Fibre in Ramsgate

Friend up the road on mweb connected. If that helps.

Thanks for the info. We see that other ISP's using PPPoE and some using DHCPv4 is not affected but clients on our vlan is affected by the issue.

We are still in a teams call with everyone troubleshooting the issue.

It's back.

Move everyone onto the test vlan. Delete main vlan. Rename test vlan to main vlan. Go home and have a beer.

Hi,

Sounds like a plan but the vlan is huge in KZN and Frogfoot is currently investigating why it's affecting only certain parts of the network.

We are still actively working on the issue with FF.

Seems like there is no backup power, no internet as soon as load shedding started.

And down again wow was up 2 hours and it cannot be power for me my next load shed is 2am.

My patience is wearing thin now who's at fault here Afrihost or Frogfoot?

Ffs we have enough **** to deal with on the south coast atm our houses are damaged we don't have water some don't even have electricity we don't have time to put up with this sort it out.

Not waiting another day to do so either I will move ISP or cancel FF.

Also have no internet again....

Edit: Seems to be back again.

Morning,

We are still following up on the issues experienced but i believe these are power related rather than the vlan issue from yesterday. With stage 4 power might be an issue at the nodes but I will follow up on the vlan issues and revert back.
