Taking a guess it would be this outage causing it, maybe @AfriNatic can confirm.

Latency higher in the 50's close 60's.Is it degraded again?
Could also be the below as well:
This is really happening way to often now.
Frogfoot Notice: NLD | Port Shepstone <> Amanzimtoti via ADVA | Down|Customers may experience problems with intermittent connectivity. |Kindly note that the Engineers are attending. Further feedback to follow. | Logged to layer 1 vendor
Seems to be resolved as from a few minutes ago, latency back to normal.Update:
Outage Update| NLD | Port Shepstone <> Amanzimtoti via ADVA | Down|Progressive update will follow . The team is still working on this fault.
I did take a dig at them on Twitter yesterday that it is down far to often causing hours of degraded performance.Sure, until Friday comes around.
How many times has this NLD been down so far?
Time for reality, look at the FF in PE thread. We'll be catching up to them soon. Rubbish groundwork with cables 20cm from surface. Seemingly shoddy repair work where time matters more than quality of work.
Not happy with FF at all.
Thanks, did not see any spikes after about 10 minutes after this post.@ronnie_94
"Fibre Umkomaas, Craigieburn, Naidooville, Roseneath"
This was all the WA customer care sent me. Timeline seems off. The fibre was working around that time. Its the same NLD that's affecting port shepstone ff users but like you said fibre didn't actually go down for us until after 5pm :/mybroadband.co.za
@DJ29 From the KZN Fibre Mid South Coast thread had some issues right about your time. Posted later was resolved. Hopefully yours is back now.
You should see all the fibre breaks all over Tweni. Municipality has been clearing the ditches which is where the FF installers have put their cables Old St faiths, Mkhuhlwa Crescent, Sylvan Avenue - I guess if nobody is connected on these nobody will report? @AfriNatic
Well FF techs themselves told me I'm apparently the only one in my road who took up fibre. One FF tech said he also lives here in Tweni and the uptake was not good. You should see all the fibre breaks all over Tweni.
