Fibre ISP change

I have been trying to move my existing fibre to Afrihost for the last few days. Seems like there is a new issue every day. How long should it take. Circuit has been released by previous ISP, so now I sit without connectivity.

May I please have the circuit release ticket reference or your order number.
 
The order we placed is stuck awaiting scheduling, it has been escalated to Vuma that it is an activation order. Logged with their Dev Team 00038759
Any idea how long it will still take to get my fibre activated again ?
 
Hi.

I will follow up; we have not yet received feedback. The estimated turnaround time is up to 72 hours.
 
I have signed up on 12 April already, it is not a new install just a ISP move, Why still no working fibre?
 
Im about to switch also to Afrihost but now worried as i dont want to be experiecing downtime between the switch

Average downtime is usually a day maybe 2. It is usually down to the FNO unfortunately
 
im about to switch from Home connect to afrihost.
just filled in the migration on the website
due to leave home connect at end of the month
hoping that afrihost can ask for early migration.

if i complete today , likely that i will be switched over before month end?
( already have an afrihost account for my mobile router )

They can only take over the line once Home connect releases it

they did mention something along the lines of early handover if the new ISP arranges but im guessing that not true?
had terrible service from them and now want to go bck to afrihost
do i still place order today even though i terminate Home connect at the end of month?

Early hand over is possible if escalated by Afrihost and HomeConnect follows through of releasing the line. @Afrigirl or @AfriNatic should be able to assist

Hi.

We'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused during this period. We are working with Vumatel to ensure that the line is being activated correctly.
