Fibre line provisioning

Good day, can anyone advise me on how long a line take to provisioning after you have switch from one isp to another.

My new isp is telling me that the line is busy to provisioning with them. It is an octotel line
 
If you have your new PPPOE login details, try restarting your ONT.

You might have to wait until Monday though. I switched on 1 January and only went live on the 2nd, even though Octotel said they did it on the 1st.

Thing is I did move from one isp to another. I did cancel with my previous isp. They told me on Thursday that the line is provisioning... Does it really take so long
 
Has Octotel been in contact at all?

In my case they emailed a day or two after I cancelled to check why and two weeks later to ask if I'd applied with a new ISP, saying they wanted to avoid downtime for me.

I did end up with some downtime, probably because it was New Year's Day, but I made sure I had a backup plan.

Two years earlier I had the same thing switching from another ISP. That time the 1st was on a Sunday.

The new isp, wich is Vox telecoms indicated to me that they are awaiting on octotel to activate the line for me.

Octotel didn't make contact with me as yet, my project manager did apparently send again a email to octotel this morning for activation
