Hey New Castle

i see fibre went live in your hood! That is awesome these guys now moving onto greener pastures other than the big metros.

head over to www.evotel.co.za and check it out, see it went live on the weekend..

Nice!

It will probably take another 6 months+ for most areas. Sleeves/pipes are empty (no fibreglass), access points at fence/wall and connection points (hole in ground with box and lockable lid) is still outstanding in most areas.

Saw this on facebook tonight

Howzit, Sunnyridge Newcastle!

Your Fibre is LIVE!
1) Place an order for fibre at www.evotel.co.za
2) Follow the prompts to create your Evotel account.
3) Choose the ISP that best suits your needs (don't forget to send the required documentation to them)
4) Our team will call you, once they have received your ISP application, to book your installation!

Yeah we got confirmation early morning from our service manager that Sunnyridge is live installations is taking place. :)

Vumatel, Evotel and now Openserve too.

Great time to not signup and rather wait for better prices...

I think you'll be waiting a while. You'll probably see the second coming of Jesus first. At least you have options if you having connectivity issues with one of the network providers.

I signed a 2 year contract with a wisp 3 months ago. They did say they will change customers over to fibre, but not sure at what cost and t&c's.

I don't mind finishing the contract first before signing up.
