Fibrehoods WTF

So i thought id share my experience with fibrehoods here as i am honestly about to pull my hair out.


So Fibrehoods was contracted to do our complex in north riding, after taking 3 weeks to install at the gate, they told me the junction box is not working and had to go back, this happened 3 times.
Then they scheduled to install into all the units, firstly this is how they tried to install the fibre(before i made them change it)

Then they left and the Light on the ONT was red saying no LOS

Then they send a maintenance team out on the Saturday to investigate, he finds that none of the units are getting a good enough signal from the main box at the gate, so that team needs to come out again.
That team came out yesterday and says there is no issue.
I get an email from my ISP and fibrehoods to say all is active, as well as the invoice.
Get home and surprise surprise the LOS light is still on and nothing is working.

Does anyone have any idea how i can escalate this further.

With my endless frustrations in getting Fibrehoods to sort out the installation and activation of my Fibre, I found that their Facebook team (on Facebook messenger) was great it getting some action from the top. When I finally escalated it after 1 month of hassles, they sorted it out in 1 day when a manager stepped in.

Cool Ideas also pushed hard from their side and should be commended for keeping me in the loop about the issues and progress.
 
Having similar pointless emails with vumatel (fibrehoods), they are seriously pathetic

Emails dont help, i have phoned,fibrehoods,red networks,britelink etc
yet they have the cheek to send me an invoice

Thanks for the help guys, a new ONT was installed this afternoon and then activated whilst the technicians were at my house.
Finally i am live.

I am live as of this evening, PM me and i will get you in contact with the lady at fibrehoods that moved heaven and earth to get me live this afternoon.
But some unit have an issue with a level of -36DB which is not good.
 
I am live too. Generally a good, fast connection, but at times I'm ping-spiking to 1600ms. Why would a fiber connection have spikes? Congestion?
