FIFA 10!!!!!!!!!

Have you played the demo? I found the dribbling much more difficult - though I really don't mind. I was never too good at that anyway. Much easier to defend and pass (properly) now than it was before.
 
Never tried the demo. I prefer to wait for the full game. I will lose my mind if i must play the demo now.

I am a dribbler/passer.

Although dribbling is probably my strength. Thats what i HATE about FIFA. The game doesnt support dribblers.
 
Nah dude, I dribble easy in the latest iterations of FIFA. I hate the fact that I can score from anywhere on the park with relative ease. Even playing against Buffon. I can barely score in PES (never could get the hang of it... great at setting up goals, crap at finishing :o) so FIFA just feels too hax for me.
 
Yeah, FIFA gets a thumbs down from me.

It has always been Pro Evo for the most realistic football feeling game.
 
Pes *was* great.Fifa 09 was better than pes,fifa 10 is going to blow pes out of the water.
 
I love pes but ffs look at fifa 10.Pes is not evolving as a game.It's a rehash of the previous versions.Fifa brings something new to the table almost every year,and pes music sucks :D

PES is like a bonzai tree. You clip a little here and a little there to make it absolutely perfect. The gameplay doesn't need a drastic overhaul. That said - they went back to the style they had in PES 6, but it offers a couple of damn fine improvements nonetheless. It is what 2008 should have been.

@music comment... dude. seriously. I don't see why people make such a big fuss about it. Honestly. Quake 3 was not so epic because it was a cool game but because it involved the community. The community which loves the way the game plays helps others enjoy it more by changing the screens, music and kits/faces/names of players because Konami simp[ly cannot compete with FIFA in that department. I'd rather have the PES gameplay and a community patch than FIFA gameplay and the all the bleeding licenses. It's the Web2.0 age dude... we can, we will we want to mod!

I can't see FIFA doing anything that will make it beat PES, unless it copies PES down to the last detail. Incidentally... it already has :rolleyes:

That said - I will try out FIFA on someones Xbox/PS3 and shalt reporteth with absoluteth truth. When though... I have no idea... :o
 
There's no way in hell Fifa 10 on pc will beat Pes 2010 on pc.

Also I find it rather hilarious that the majority of the threads on the official fifa 2010 forums pc section are basicly bashing the game. You will very very rarely finding that happening to games.

I suggest goes to go and read some of the threads.

On console it may be different but on PC pes will be king. Fifa 10 doesn't even utilise both cores of dual core cpu's while pes does.

Really?? Fifa is evolving so fast that they are still using ps 2 graphics and only utilizing one core on dual core cpu's.;)

Yes nice using an xbox 360 pic when I was talking about the pc version. Besides the pes 2010 images looking pretty close to the same quality if not slightly better imho. But we were comparing the pc version of fifa vs pes.

Here is your comparison:

Umm... can anyone tell me if the FIFA gameplay on the PC is similar/equal to the PC version. I really couldn't give a toss about the graphics. I started playing PES on the Playstation 1 (back in the ISS days) and back then it was as ugly as dogschit. It still beat the pants off FIFA any day of the week.

Remember - gameplay only.
 
Haven't played fifa 2010 demo, I refuse to touch trash which is what EA sports offered the pc gamer. But if you go and read the threads around the web you will find that majority of footy gamers will tell you game play wise pes 2010 trashes fifa 2010 on pc. On console the opinion varies but on pc the opinion is generally the same at least at the forums I visit.

If you were actually asking if game play between fifa pc and console is the same then the answer is no. EA Sports claims due to cpu limitations they can't offer the same gameplay on pc. So its not only graphics that they skimped on as far as pc goes.
 
I was wondering more on whether the difference between console vs PC FIFA is purely cosmetic or actually goes deeper... I know about the "arguments" on the various forums all over the interwebz. ;)
