Anyone getting FIFA 17 on PC, that is going to play online, interested in playing together? I skipped FIFA 16 and my internet connection was abysmal before, it's still not great.:( I haven't played in a while so I'm very rusty.:p
 
I will definitely be getting FIFA 17 on PC. Not sure how much time I'll spend playing online though. Only mode I care about is manager mode.
 
I played Ultimate Team on 15 and I had a decent team without using real money. The biggest pain is that the players you buy on the market generally have a few contracts left so you constantly have to buy contracts (I think it's called contracts, like I said, I haven't played FIFA for a long time).
 
FIFA online on PC is pathetic. Im thinking of giving this one a miss. The game freezes and it takes forever to get paired with someone.

I tried the other night - for the very first time - on my old Fifa 13 and it worked really well - no delays or connectivity issues (on a 2 Mbps line). Didn't have to wait long to get someone either...so it probably just depends on your timing.
 
Ultimate team is really awesome but 16 was quite horrible to be honest the servers were so bad

also the whole chemistry thing was all a lie
 
No matter what I say about how bad this or that is about the current game, the FIFA fan boy inside my head knows he will get me to buy the next one
 
The demo looks really good - gameplay and eye candy have massively improved. The Journey also looks promising. I play the demo on medium with no AA at 1080p and it still looks good. It eats my RAM though (I only have 4GB :o).

I will definitely get it on PC, I have played FIFA since 13. This is probably the best FIFA I have seen or played, 16 was horrible and boring. The new FUT additions are very good as well as the story mode they added. However the important part being gameplay, this was greatly improved in this FIFA, according too the demo that is.

You can play FUT without any in game purchases, I did that for 1st year or 2. It wasn't so bad. 17 has more rewards, for instance, you get a bad pack, you can now do challenges with cards and unlock a special card or a certain pack.

As for online play, I don't think I've ever struggled to find a game and about 90% of the time connection is very good.

Will finally be able to play it on the 22nd.

I was a 100% sure sale until the recent Origin price increases. Now all the new games are R1k. EA can fck right off. I'll be buying PES this year.
 
I saw it's R850 at takealot, pre-order. It's still really expensive when you compare it with Mafia 3's PC price at takealot. I think it (FIFA) should be the same price after pre-order. I really hope so!
 
The game came yesterday. I had internal conflict because of that price but decided to pull the trigger on Thursday. I'm still really rusty, I rarely score more than one goal a game on World Class:(, and my internet connection isn't really helping when I play online.

The Journey seems half done regarding certain components. You choose what position you're going to play, I chose CAM, then the coach says I'm like my granddad but later the commentators say he was a striker. :confused::crylaugh: I watched a few videos on YouTube where one guy scored 3 or 4 goals in 2 games but they stilled loaned him out to the Championship. Just showing how your actions don't impact the story as much as what they said. (Disclaimer: I haven't played The Journey a lot yet) I hate that you can't skip the cut scenes, which can be long and just plain bad at times.

If you don't play online that much you might as well get the game through other platforms.;) This is probably the last FIFA I'll get for a few years. Not because I don't like it, I like it, but it's really too expensive!
