FIFA 17

has this game improved over FIFA 16? I'd play on PC and I'm really trying to work out if I want to get it. I play predominantly online (FUT), but some of the stuff I experienced in FIFA 16 really annoyed me. These things were:

1. Demented refs that called a foul randomly
2. Ridiculously poor AI on some team mates e.g. inability to make a logical run even when you call for it
3. Mental defending - defenders were mostly useless, unable to mark - basic stuff
4. Stupid/random passing - most times this was ok, but the one time a player decided he would make a run, something stupid would happen, like an attempted through ball to the clearly not-obvious player (damn you assisted passing)

I have had alot of fun and played over 200+ hours on FIFA16, spent time in DIV5 (so I guess I'm average / below average skill player). My key frustration was that winning/losing could seem so random because of the above, and if it isnt fixed in FIFA 17 I don't think im up for it.

Also on PC, can you save replays yet?

The game came yesterday. I had internal conflict because of that price but decided to pull the trigger on Thursday. I'm still really rusty, I rarely score more than one goal a game on World Class:(, and my internet connection isn't really helping when I play online.

The Journey seems half done regarding certain components. You choose what position you're going to play, I chose CAM, then the coach says I'm like my granddad but later the commentators say he was a striker.:crylaugh: I watched a few videos on YouTube where one guy scored 3 or 4 goals in 2 games but they stilled loaned him out to the Championship. Just showing how your actions don't impact the story as much as what they said. (Disclaimer: I haven't played The Journey a lot yet) I hate that you can't skip the cut scenes, which can be long and just plain bad at times.

If you don't play online that much you might as well get the game through other platforms.;) This is probably the last FIFA I'll get for a few years. Not because I don't like it, I like it, but it's really too expensive!

I paid R600 for my copy on CDKeys.com. It's cheaper if you change the currency to Euros. FIFA games take ages to hit the torrent scene these days thanks to the Denuvo DRM, and even when they do are riddled with issues.

1. Demented refs that called a foul randomly The refs give yellow cards for fun now. Some fouls baffled me.
2. Ridiculously poor AI on some team mates e.g. inability to make a logical run even when you call for it Runs in behind have been inconsistent, which is kind of realistic but frustrating.
3. Mental defending - defenders were mostly useless, unable to mark - basic stuff Defending seems normal. The CPU seems better at corners.
4. Stupid/random passing - most times this was ok, but the one time a player decided he would make a run, something stupid would happen, like an attempted through ball to the clearly not-obvious player (damn you assisted passing) Immediately change player switching to manual. It switched way too often at critical defensive moments.
