Ok i know nothing about xbox, what xbox do i need to play fifa 2010 online and will i be playing against people with low pings or international people?

Is it better to get a ps3 for this or what?

I'd get the PS3 slim doobs. Its about a bit more than a xbox360 but you get far more, including free online play.

Does the slim come with hdmi cause i have a hd ready projector.

Bralwer the online play would that be local or int?

Not sure what you mean doob, all PS3's have HDMI ports just don't come with cables.
I'd say go with the PS3 slim, advantage being online is free.
Game add-ons are charged in rands and can be downloaded with local cap.

Also there is a great local FIFA community who run tournaments regularly, 384 line perfect against locals but waaayy too laggy for international games. If you're on a 4Mb line then you won't have a problem agains locals or internationals

PS3 slim has hdmi out yes.
Also includes a blue ray player so you can make the most of your hd projector.
120gb hdd
built in ethernet and wifi

Not sure if its local or not but I play BF bad company no lag whatsoever.

Xbox360 is definately int because live isn't officially supported here, you need to register your account in the u.k and buy your online member ship from overseas websites.

Ok yea sorry but my knowledge is pretty limited hey, the xbox arcade does not had hdmi.

I am thinking about the ps3 for sure with fifa 2010, i saw kalahari have a special with fifa 2010.

Ok so now tell me this kalahari have the ps3 250gb plus fifa 2010 for 4.5k but now will i get free online play or only with the slim?

Sorry just bare in mind this will be my first console ever so my knowledge is very limited :D.

The PlayStation Network is free on all models :D
They started it with the PS2 already.

the new arcades do have hdmi(2008+).

The 250gb ps3 is a slim lol

Ok i see the slim is like 3.8k but kalahari have a special for a ps3 plus fifa 2010 for 4.5k

its basicly a slim with a bigger hdd in.

PS3 uses a standard notebook hdd so you can even put a 500gb in.

I'd definately go for that deal. If you buy the R3799 120gb slim and fifa 10 seperately it would come to that price.

Ok cool LOL and it comes with the hdmi connector. Sounds like a deal of note i reckon :D

Thanx.

Now regarding sound? i got 2.1 speakers that i use, sahara specials will that be fine?

Where are you planning on plugging them into?
Does your projector have audio out?

Nope, at the moment i just the projector for picture i use the speaker for sound via those red and white connections.

So i plug the yellow connection into the projector and then the red and white into the sub woofer. Obviously the yellow connection will be replaced by the hdmi.

but how are you going to get the audio out of the ps3?

Aww Kalahari are STINGY.... if they put the extra controller in that would be a super deal.
who wants to play FIFA single player? i would have so ordered right now if they put the extra controller in.and i know its easy just to buy another one but 5K for that bundle plus extra controller is just too much .eish

Yar brawler these are things i have no idea about dude LOL

Does the audio come from the hdmi or what?

You have a few options but basicly for you who wants to use HDMI for video you will need to get a speaker system with HDMI passthrough or optical audio in.

doob HDMI is audio and video but you can still use the standard A/V plugs for audio

EDIT:
Brawler you beat me to it :p

yeah then that sounds like a good bundle..... you may aswell go for it.
ive been waiting for an offer like this but it would have had me sold if it had an extra cntroller :(
