Not suprised, more teams meaning a bigger gap in quality, hydration breaks etc all play into this.
The (ad)-break itself is a joke, but I do quite like the fact that it gives the coach a chance to yell at the team. Usually when e.g. a side is slacking off they keep doing so throughout the half which makes for more boring football.
