what is the worst financial boo-boo you have done...

Bought a second hand Jetta 2 for 20 000 and had it break down in 2 weeks, the repairs were going to cost 25 000 so just gave it up as a bad deal =[

Lend friends and family some money for helping them out in "stress" situations. Yet thereafter they can afford holidays and renovations but not paying back the cash they "Borrowed".

Bought a '89 Golf for 15K that broke down 3x in the first year (radiators, clutch, fuel pump). Sold it 18 months later for 10K.

Declined a job offer in the Netherlands. Still living with the main reason :D

Left a R1,000 withdrawal in an ATM.

Lending money to family, year after year after year.

Upshot? I have no short-term debt, since I've had to learn to make money last.
:D

That is why you take a grand for dancers, cover charge and drinks money and leave the cards at home.

Off topic. What the hell is the difference between VIP and the floor?

Back on topic. I don't have major financial mishaps. I just seem to bleed money all the time.
