Fire Tv and Netflix

Hi Guys

i just need to know something... perhaps its me, but im not sure. Netflix opens up only via wifi on the Fire Tv, but as soon as i plug in the ethernet cable, its says i have no connection. Everything else connects fine, so am i missing something somewhere?
