Firefox 2.0.0.14 has been released

At this rate Firefox's way ahead of IE...

...and a program which's updated actively means that ppl keep finding problems and reporting it so we have something which is trying to stay ahead of the haxx0r pack...

...not like IE which doesn't get updated as regularly...

@ killadoob

Yeah, IE gets updated quite often, it's just not in the form of a new browser, it's just part of Windows Updates.

I use Maxthon and not IE, and while I like FireFox, I'm happy with my Maxthon. The new 2.09 release seemed a bit buggy though.

Maybe I should get FireFox and update it on the one Linux server box I have here

I plan to use Mozilla Firefox EXCLUSIVELY on my 'other' PC when I manage to get the bastard working!

As a matter of fact, I plan to use ONLY freeware on the PC.

But thanks for letting me know about the update... I'm doing it now :D

I have tried the v3 but I will stick to v2 till 3 is officially released. No noticeable difference though now that I have 2.0.0.14

You might be having the same or similar problems with your profile that Mercurial had above. Uninstall Firefox, then delete your old profile located at....

C:/Documents and Settings/[Your username]/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles

and ...

C:/Documents and Settings/[Your username]/Local Settings/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles

and then go to C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox and make sure all those folders are deleted.

Then try and install again.

I've been using FF3b for a while now, and it is much better than 2. Currently the beta release is quite stable, cant wait for the final release....

Cheers
