Firefox error "The connection was reset"

I keep on getting this annoying error with Firefox "The connection was reset", it makes eBay especially almost unusable, I have to use Opera to browse eBay. Also affects some other sites but eBay especially bad, also sometimes get "Connection timed out" error all only on Firefox Opera and Chrome work fine, I'm connecting via LTE/3G using an MTN sim in a Tp-Link LTE router.

Have you tried changing Firefox proxy setting to auto-detect?

Yes it is currently on auto-detect

Have you tried setting it to use system proxy settings?

What os are you using?

Have you tried uninstalling firefox and using Chrome?
