For some reason, Firefox uninstalls the updates it installs for my add-ons when I restart my PC. No matter what I do, every time I open it after restarting my PC I have to re-download them. It's getting annoying now and it's a waste of data. To top it off, the browser is so freaking slow without the updates installed.

Any ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks

Java is fully updated, and has been for some time, so it doesn't seem that that's the problem.

Perhaps a email to Mozilla with your problems?

This is what I would try:

1.] Clear the cache. Preferably with CCleaner. Check if fixed.

2.] Make sure "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" are ticked. Check if fixed.

3.] Uninstall and re-install Firefox. Check if fixed.

If none of those work then have a look in the error console...Tools > Error Console...There may be a clue in there somewhere.

Good luck.

Thanks :) I'll try that.

I run CCleaner regularly, so point 1) unfortunately won't solve it.

Will let you know the results of points 2 and 3.
