Windows 10 Automatic Update Reboots

Okay, I remember that earlier versions of Windows 10 was somewhat oblivious to the registry/group policy entries for Windows Update. That problem was fixed later on and then it worked as expected. But the entries are quite specific for it to work, and since I don't have a Windows 10 device or VM nearby to test the settings I before I recommend them I would rather give a simpler recommendation.

Set the scheduled restart time for something like Sunday 8am, or whatever time would suit you best. That way you have a few days to perform a controlled reboot if you want (You should get the option to install updates and then reboot, or just perform a normal reboot without installing anything). Otherwise make sure that nothing is open on the machine at the set time that can be affected by a reboot and just leave the machine switched on.

Also, remove any keys and values under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate (if it exists) to make sure that no artifacts interfere with the operation of Windows Updates and cause unexpected behaviour.

PS: You should only have this problem until October this year...

The event log entry shown only states that the machine was shutting down at a specific date and time, it didn't specify how it was initiated. (by hand, scheduled shutdown or via application/service)
If the reboot was initiated because of updates then you would have WindowsUpdateClient entries before the restart in the event log where the updates were installed. (also under System log)

You also didn't mention whether these reboots occur on a monthly, weekly or daily basis and what build version of Windows 10 you are using.
You're right, I cropped the log sorry, the restart event is prefixed with a tonne of downloads and updates:

Are you sure it's Automatic Updates rebooting it and it's not just shitting it's own pants because you know...Windows?
I've never had issues with windows. My machines use to be up for months at a time before these last few years updates are forced. I have more issues with mac needing restarts for random sound issues or overheating or simply slowing down to a crawl.
Well then it can't be updates.

Is this a corporate device? I would imagine not because then your options would have been greyed out.
No, personal device.

No, personal device.

Hmm I wonder if it's the installing that is maybe causing it to fail and then reboot and not the "pending restart" nature of the update itself.

And then because it fails then it just loops the problem again.

I remember having something like that many years ago on Windows 8 still, ended up needing a BIOS update.

Worth checking that it's not the same update over and over again.

Based on the information provided, I don't think Windows Updates is the main culprit of reboots here.

Running multiple VM's and having multiple websites open while using an 3D imaging program is going to seriously strain the resources on any computer, regardless of make.
Odds are that either the machine is running out of usable memory or some drivers or libraries are clashing because they need to access the same resources or use the same interrupts or access the same areas of memory... which causes the kernel to go into panic mode and then the OS reboots as a safeguard to prevent any or further data corruption.
Check the health of the drives - they could be overheating and restarting your machine. Hard Disk Sentinel gives pretty accurate info
