No difference here... Opera and Safari(OSX) perform better for me.

You can tweak most of those settings quite easily in Opera anyway. I find the biggest "speed" increase comes from lowering the redraw or loading times. Multiple server requests didn't make much difference for me either after you up then to about 10. Just lower it from 30 imo.

I would suggest everyone use these tweaks if it were not for your comment...care to elaborate?

Looks like Beanie replied on my behalf.

These are not new tweaks and many people have said that maxing out these options might be good for you but not the server that serves the page to you so set it a low value but that you can still see a speed difference.

these tweaks are pretty old.

i would also think that sites by now have catered for FF users who set that one setting to 1000 or something.
