Firefox3 update fixes crashes

Not impressed...

I'm a die hard Firefox fan, but I have to admit I'm a tad bit disappointed with the new browser. It looks and works great (all the new bells and whistles)BUT, and it's a big BUT, our enterprise level application (of which I am an active developer) has suffered massive setbacks because of the new browser. All the CSS styles that worked fine on FF2 and IE7, now don't work to well on FF3. Most of our layout template is disjointed, and some functionality is completely gone...

I'm not impressed AT ALL...:mad::mad:

On the other hand, not one page I regularly visit is broken for me.
Could it be a case of non-compliance on your side?

mmm, I think you should learn to develop standards compliant sites...

There's this new-fangled thing out called "developer standards".

Your site probably won't load in IE8 either. Does it work in Opera or Safari? :p

Anyway, anyone know if I can get this update for Linux? Does it need it?

Default offline mode for ppp connections in Linux? Muhaha... I've not had this problem... and I use a dual pppoe setup on my linux box.

Talkin about css styles not working, I had an issue where a different css page had to be used for IE vs FF. The margins had problems working together. But other than that, haven't had any issues with Firefox in either Linux or Windblows

Updated. Will wait and see if that solves those occasional lock ups I get on FF3

can't say i have had any problems with FF3

Since installing the new update yesterday, I have actually been experiencing more crashes. I opened www.kaspersky.com - crashed firefox 3.0.1 4 times in a row. Can someone else try this and let me know if they have the same problem.

It really doesnt like Microsoft sites. My hotmail just doesnt work anymore, point blank. And Facebook chat has stopped working. This is immediately after the update...

I've had maybe 1 crash since installing FF3 and I have it running on both XP and Ubuntu. I'm really happy with the new version

I opened this site, no problem. I'm using the new FF3.0.1 on Vista.

I have not experience a single crash since downloading FF3.(Runs and touches a huge tree)
