Just wanted to brag a little. I upgraded my home fibre to 100mb and the performance is amazing!!!!!!!!! 98mb down, 99 up, I'm super stoked! Best of all is that my ISP (FireStream) gives it away at R999 per month, yip 100mb uncapped & unshaped @ R999p/m. Cheap as chips! If you haven't already, then check them out, their service is top notch and such a lekker bunch of guys. Laters muchachos.

I used to be with Greencon originally, switched from them to FireStream. My old man is with MetroFibre direct and is also switching.

Thanks for the feedback stemple. Really pleased to hear that you are enjoying the upgrade.

Slow. My 100mbps gets me about 105/106mbps :p

Who gives a S H 1 T if its 97,98 or 101 makes no damn difference, I have heard that some ISP's actually set a 100 meg service at 105, so people don't bitch when they get 96 or 97.

Of course it does :p

Doesn't help if they supply 100Mb routers so you do only get 96/97Mbps

What has your average monthly usage been? Have you ever been throttled?

Any possibility of getting international speed tests to multiple locations?

I Don't know about their service. Contacted them twice, with no response. Used their form on their site to send them a message. On the forum I was advised to phone. What is the point of an Internet company that doesn't respond to email? Why should I phone an email company and also why should I then chase after them? Obviously they don't want business.

I also sent mark a PM through the forum months ago -- no response
