He won't be able to change it. It's the National Assembly that changes it. He doesn't wholly control the ANC.

The other people in the ANC who aspire for the top job will not allow it. It happened with Mbeki in a way. He wanted to remain ANC president for life so he could indirectly dictate who becomes president of the republic. It will not happen people. Fear not.
