First time EVER !!!! Thanking Telkom

Well this is a first for me

Actually being WELL impressed by the service I received from telkom.

Had a problem yesterday morning with my adsl line that did not sync at home, phoned the telkom call centre yesterday afternoon @ 12h00, at 13h00, a technician [Johan] phoned me to enquire whether i'm at home, as he can come and have a look at my problem.

Unfortunately i had to tell him i'm at work, and he'll have to arrange a new date/time [which normally in the past would have meant waiting another 4-12 weeks], he asked me when i can be home, i told him tomorrow [today] before 09h00,this morning @ 08h10, Johan was at my door, and within an hour, my line was back up!

So, this is one of those 'give the devil its dues' type things.

But if telkom is busy working on their customer service, it is starting to show.

I have to agree here... Telkom been pretty good to me as well... other than stealing the 500mb off my 1GB cap starting this month... lol
 
have you guys also been getting those phone calls from them lately asking about how you find the service.. some survey or something.

dont fall for it guys, they do this nice things for a few weeks and then its back to the same old telkom again....what happens when you play with fire?...and no you dont make a braai...lol

well, i have seen recently that more and more people commend them for good service, [lets not talk about pricing, caps, speed, etc]

but there is definitely an improvement in their customer service, and we should applaud them for it, and this will hopefully motivate them to become even more efficient,

Criticize when someone does something wrong, but also praise them for when they do something right.

I say make a braai and invite some oaks then have a jol :D
 
It's because all the useless Telkom employees are striking.
So you get through to somebody that actually knows what he is doing.
 
In my expriance telkom customer care is the best in south africa, my gripe is about their actual survice

Maybe Telkom should just let them strike indefinitely :p
