They actually did a few weeks agoI am surprised eskom employees haven't gone on strike yet. I guess they get paid their inflated salaries on time every month

I said it's stable just below 220v. I haven't seen the reading during a brownout. One did not occur while I was monitoring, and the UPS is about 8m from me locked in a rack.Below 220 isn't that low, I've only seen brownouts at 210 or lower.
Can go to down to 207 and still be within the nominally-acceptable range. Under load I've seen as low as 190 before. Gadgets and most appliances don't mind that.Below 220 isn't that low, I've only seen brownouts at 210 or lower.
Sell donkey meat, pap and candles, get with the times boet. What ever, we are already doing load shedding (and helping the country). A substation in our area just burned down. Probably when it comes back on we will get hit with our schedule.
I don't know how the **** government and SARS think we must run our business with this kak.
Weird I had my lights flicker at 208. Currently mine is at 233. The voltage has no correlation sadly as I've had a steady 230 to 240 and load shedding. Can go to down to 207 and still be within the nominally-acceptable range. I vouch for sabotage by disgruntled cadre employees at ESKOM. They don't want their stealing restricted. No. They purposely breaking things or just doing half hearted repairs on stuff. Giving the rest or us hard working, honest South Africans the finger.Jesus Christ, just shut it all down and get it over with.
This slow bleed into nothing is far more stressful than the up and down availability.
Eskom claiming random breakdowns like this is the biggest load of bs. This is either sabotage or deliberately blaming a reduction of diesel usage on breakdown of stations.
Right now I am just waiting for the price increase demand articles to show up and shortly after they are yet again approved for hiked pricing the load shedding and breakdowns will again magically end.
49.6-50.2 in less than a minute, stable at the moment though so maybe they got a unit or two back, not sure. What is your range?
They did mention two units were delayed in coming back, so maybe one or both have now returned.49.6-50.2 in less than a minute, stable at the moment though so maybe they got a unit or two back, not sure.

Must be the make of LED light bulb. The ones I buy have never done that, even at 190V.Weird I had my lights flicker at 208. Currently mine is at 233. The voltage has no correlation sadly as I've had a steady 230 to 240 and load shedding.
They were those CFL ones but that actually makes sense now, those were super sensitive, sneeze funny and they'd flicker.Must be the make of LED light bulb. The ones I buy have never done that, even at 190V.
So you have just come up with some conspiracy and used it to fuel your hate for anything ANC? Wouldn't it just be easy to hate them without going through all the trouble?I vouch for sabotage by disgruntled cadre employees at ESKOM. They don't want their stealing restricted. And so my hate grows stronger for anything ANC.
The ANC's white knight to the rescue...So you have just come up with some conspiracy and used it to fuel your hate for anything ANC? Wouldn't it just be easy to hate them without going through all the trouble?
Look at you coming to defend the filth again. Have at it if you enjoy trolling or being pedantic, but it's tiresome when the country's actively crumbling at the hands of the ANC.So you have just come up with some conspiracy and used it to fuel your hate for anything ANC? Come on, all I am saying is that we don't need made up stories just because there's a De Ruyter at the helm, Eskom plants are unreliable and always failing, simple as that, the alleged grand plan to sabotage De Ruyter is just a wild conspiracy meant to blame everyone at Eskom but him.Look at you coming to defend the filth again. Have at it if you enjoy trolling or being pedantic, but it's tiresome when the country's actively crumbling at the hands of the ANC.
Eskom must be declared a national disaster to ward off Stage 6 power cuts and foil sabotage

The troika of Eskom CEO, board chairperson and Pravin Gordhan is insufficient firepower for the crisis.…www.dailymaverick.co.za
Has it never happened before? What are the chances of 5 units failing at the same time.?
I smell a rat here.
