I said it's stable just below 220v. I haven't seen the reading during a brownout. One did not occur while I was monitoring, and the UPS is about 8m from me locked in a rack.

Can go to down to 207 and still be within the nominally-acceptable range. Under load I've seen as low as 190 before. Gadgets and most appliances don't mind that.

Weird I had my lights flicker at 208. Currently mine is at 233. The voltage has no correlation sadly as I've had a steady 230 to 240 and load shedding.

Eskom claiming random breakdowns like this is the biggest load of bs. This is either sabotage or deliberately blaming a reduction of diesel usage on breakdown of stations.

Right now I am just waiting for the price increase demand articles to show up and shortly after they are yet again approved for hiked pricing the load shedding and breakdowns will again magically end.

I vouch for sabotage by disgruntled cadre employees at ESKOM. They don't want their stealing restricted. No. They purposely breaking things or just doing half hearted repairs on stuff. Giving the rest or us hard working, honest South Africans the finger.

And so my hate grows stronger for anything ANC.

Must be the make of LED light bulb. The ones I buy have never done that, even at 190V.

They were those CFL ones but that actually makes sense now, those were super sensitive, sneeze funny and they'd flicker.

Come on, all I am saying is that we don't need made up stories just because there's a De Ruyter at the helm, Eskom plants are unreliable and always failing, simple as that, the alleged grand plan to sabotage De Ruyter is just a wild conspiracy meant to blame everyone at Eskom but him.
 
What are the chances of 5 units failing at the same time.?
I smell a rat here.
