I have a few flash drives and have used them without problem. Now I was given a "256MB USB2.0 Flash Drive" that is different to what I have seen before. It has the usual USB fitting at one end and then a short length of cable and a different fitting at the other end (a bit fatter than a USB fitting). I plugged the USB end into a USB port while my computer was off and then switched on but when I go to My Computer it does now show as an f: drive as my other flash drives do. Am I supposed to be doing something with the other end of the cable, i.e. plugging it in somewhere? I am running Windows XP. You guys might be falling off your chairs laughing but I don't mind.
