Flexing its muscle

Coverage please. I wish Neotel would stop being so darnm secretive and give some indication of when they expect to cover each area. Even a vague indication like Area x within the next 3 months. It would be a good idea for them as well as it may stop people from tying themselves to contracts with competitors.

talk talk talk .. launch already ..

then COVERAGE .. im outside the coverage area by about 20 metres .. houses on the other side of my road are covered .. and houses on my side arent ..... come on neotel ... I WANT TO MIGRATE OVER .... I just need coverage.... to be honest .. even if its 5% less than telkom .. I'll move .. just to give telkom the finger .... cover cover cover

I assume that if you're covered for NeoPrime then you're be covered for Neoflex

Not neccessarily. Neoflex is Rev A and NeoPrime Rev 0. So unless all NeoPrime towers have been upgraded to Rev. A it would not be the same.

that sounds daft - not you, Neotel are daft. These few base stations were erected such a short time ago and already need upgrading.

The out-of-bundle rate remains at just 8c compared to cellular providers' R1,20, so even if your cap is exceeded it won't break the bank.

They cannot compare the 2. Cellular is true mobile and Neotel is only wireless. Neotel is more like Iburst.

I'm only commenting on the one we have in our office - I haven't played with it. You may well be able to connect to it via wifi, but everyone who has used it has used a cable to do so. It might also only be trial box (not full featured).

That's because you have Neotel prime or lite, not Neoflex which is what the article is about...

No thank you Neotel i dont want ANY of your products or ANY of your future offerings!
Simply because i have no COVERAGE and will probably NEVER have at the pace you're rolling out.

So heres to bending over and taking it from telkom and others :) cheers and my you have a great 2009 and may you try your best to NOT provide me with any coverage in 2009 as well. ;)

:) :D Well thank you, as a Telkom shareholder I do have to convey my grattitude for your dividend contribution...

well done to mybb, you just rewrote the letter that was posted a few days back, can we please limit the BS spoken about 1.SEACOMM 2. NEOTEL to one article a week....

;P

I am through hating Telkom and waiting for Neotel!! I will go with the cheapest option that is really working for me. With the emphasis on the LEAST exspensive. Sorry Neotel and all other providers at this stage itsTelkom
