Flexing its muscle

Talk, talk, talk.

I still don't have coverage. It would be great for Neotel to share with us where they plan to expand.

Yea! More product range! And finally, a stand alone data offering.

But, I note the continuing complete and utter lack of internet service quality guarantee's with a sad face.
And, now that everyone knows that Wi-Fi's WEP is completely hackable, I hope the router can switch off the WiFi hardware.

So .. when exactly will this be available?

This is the first Neotel product that I'm actually interested in. Wish they would offer an uncapped option though :(

Agreed, hopefully it will also offer MAC filtering and WPA2.

COVERAGE!!!

As soon as I'm covered I'm there!!! I just gave vodacom another R400 for a crappy 2GB. I wont mind paying R600 for 15GB under the current market.

No thank you Neotel i dont want ANY of your products or ANY of your future offerings!
Simply because i have no COVERAGE and will probably NEVER have at the pace you're rolling out.

So heres to bending over and taking it from telkom and others :) cheers and my you have a great 2009 and may you try your best to NOT provide me with any coverage in 2009 as well. ;)

In the article they say before the end of Novemeber. Either FinWeek got their facts wrong (if they have any) of someone is very optimistic! Sunday is 30Nov so that means that Neotel is supposed to lunch this tomorrow if they want it to be available by month end. No company launces a product over the weekend because they don't work over weekends. I honestly don't think we'll be able to apply for this by end of business tomorrow.

Neotel i've asked the chaps :D at Chappies bubblegum to help with an extremely technical issue that you currently have. This will save millions in salary costs as you can now fire your panel of "experts"

Did you know?
Cape Town, Joburg, Pretoria and Durban are not the only places in South Africa where humans reside?

I know this is meant to be a data offering only, but does anybody know if one will be able to plug a phone into this baby?
No.
As in, no phone jack on the wireless router.
As in, the wireless technology that Neotel uses cannot do data and "voice" on the same channel at the same time, hence the introduction of the data-only product.

But, you can get a voip ethernet phone and plug it into the router and use a voip provider for calls.

I've given up Neotel. Their people never respond to any mails that I've send, and I still don't coverage.
