The one year in my life that i had the shot i got the worst bronchitis, was down for nearly 8 days. May have been coincidence but i very rarely get anything more than a sore throat except the one year i had a flu shot.
Don't do it. Years ago I used to go for them and ended up being sick all the time. After I stopped having the shots I have been much better off in all honesty. I will never again in my life go for a flu jab. It's a money making racket and you are only weakening your own immune system.
Work is giving us flu shots if we want it. I do not know if I should. I did not get sick at all last year even without the shot. I have heard other people also say that the one year they got the shot they either got sick anyway or the severity actually increased. Opinions? Rather just dose up on Moducare and what will be will be?

Don't even waste your money on that, what will be will be regardless of supplements.
i'd recommend against it, there are a lot of good vaccines out there but the flu shot isn't one of them. if you do get one, report back here how sick you get
Moducare is proven to work by University of Stellenbosch. I would rather spend a bit more on something that works than on Vitamin C supplements that you just pee out in a hour or two.
The thing about the flu shot is that it isn't a guarantee that you won't get it, but it does help your body to generate antibodies to defend against the most common strands of influenza viruses for the season.
I'd like to read a bit more about this proof, if you have a link, it would be great. I'm too lazy too GooglePeople take supplements for the 4 or 5 days they have flu, then when the flu is gone, they assume it's the supplements, and not the normal 'lifespan' of the virus.

I can't find where you can actually download the study. Was published in the International Journal of Immunopharmacology. While searching I see there was a thread on this forum about it already. http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/343319-Moducare-who-takes-it-and-do-you-think-it-works
Well that thread is not of much help. But if you claim it works for you, good for you.![]()
