FNB Connect

I tried for the first time to buy 30 mins voice. That went through and it reflects when I call *111# but when I try to phone it stops me and says my airtime is low.

So I see there are four options when buying:

Airtime
Voice
SMS
Data

What is the difference between Airtime and Voice. Why can't I call with the 30 minutes Voice. Airtime/Data/SMS are all currently 0.

Confusing and irritating!

I called them. So there is a technical problem with them AGAIN. They reset my sim (as she called it), have to turn my phone off for five minutes. Jeez.

So Airtime is more expensive than Voice but it's the same thing. :wtf:

And that didn't work. Calling them again ...

Now they made me add a new Access Point. Switch phone off again.

Still not working.

Now she's going to talk to a technician and call me back.

Not impressed at all!
 
Hi FNB Connect users,

I cant use FNB 3d secure. When I put in the pin nothing happens. Blank page. Click refresh and got an SMS from FNB that there was a purchase on my FNB card, so the payment is processed but I get a blank page (3dsecureprd.fnb.co.za/etc) and am not returned to the website I was buying from.

Has anyone else had this issue? And is this issue restricted to FNB Connect users or is it more widespread?

I am probably going to provide some kind of proof that the payment went through to the website where I was trying to pay.

#edit: the SMS says reserved, but there is no transaction yet.

And again, FNB connect data connection buggered, WhatsApp works but nothing else and my phone is telling me there is no connectivity, wife's phone too
 
Images on takealot.com do not load. Tried Iron (Chrome minus Google) and Firefox. Even Iexplore also cant load images.

Error is 501 inflation failure invalid content. seems to affect images hosted at media3.takealot.com images at static.takealot.com load fine.

Can anyone advise what is causing this? (only affects FNB Connect, I used another ISP and images load fine)

But no data is being received.

Any one experiencing this?
 
Hi. I'm having a problem with calls. The call just says calling...then after couple seconds it cuts off and says call ended. No ring tone nothing. Doing this with all numbers. How come??

I dont know if it will fix calls, but after rebooting I now have data on my router... Try reboot the phone...
 
Rebooting didn't work. But after 30 mins or so it worked again. Happened a few times before which is v strange. Never happened when I was on cell c, the network is the same so it's a FNB issue
