I have a USD global account, I just opened up a Euro account - do I use the same card or get a new one?

You'll need a new cardI have a USD global account, I just opened up a Euro account - do I use the same card or get a new one?
FML. Any idea on how long it takes? You'll need a new card
If you order via the app, it usually takes 2-4 working days. You should be fineFML. Any idea on how long it takes?
I depart on the 4th of Oct.
Thanks, for some odd reason I thought I could use the same card for different currencies (until I realised that I couldn't).If you order via the app, it usually takes 2-4 working days. You should be fine
It will.Actually, if my Lounge Pass still works on the USD one then I'm good. Will use my Bank Zero card - fees are quite low.
Isn't it cheaper to use the Global Card for swipes because of the 4% eB earn (if you're on level 5)?It will.
I am off to Serbia next week. Used the Euro one in France last but will do the following.
FNB Global account for lounge in Qatar and Serbia.
Capitec for swiping
Investec for ATM up to R2800 as Investec only charges conversion fees and zero ATM fees. Ill likely only pull R1000 worth of local currency at a time and swipe Capitec as most places do card anyway.
Serbia is Serbian Dinar if it was Euro I would have used the Global acc cardIsn't it cheaper to use the Global Card for swipes because of the 4% eB earn (if you're on level 5)?
mmm thats a good pointYes, but the currency conversion is 1% and eB earn is 4%

Does Capitec really not charge conversion fees? Or is it just on their credit card?mmm thats a good point
Hello all.To clarify:
Premier - the global account is free, but if a global debit card is ordered for the account; the annual charge applies (eg. 20USD a year) even if you cancel the card.
Private - the global account and one global debit card in your currency of choice is included in the monthly account fee. However if you get a second currency, the annual card fee applies to the second card.
Don't know but that one 20usd even if charged is worth it. Best to call fnbHello all.
Is this still true for private clients?
I'm trying to find out, but cant seem to find out the answer anywhere.
I basically want to know if 1 global debit card is free (included in my monthly fee)
I tried to register the virtual card on the Lounge key app and it was not recognised. The real card was accepted. One card is free if you have private account and above. A second card in another currency is charged. I am not sure if you can have a global account without any other account with FNB. You can call FNB to ask that. Two questions:
1. Do you get Lounge visits with a virtual card on the Global Account?
2. Can you have a Global Account as your only FNB product? I want to close my Easy Account.
Hi kabal. My husband and I have 8hr and 4hr stopovers in Dubai with a return trip to NZ. What Lounges did you use in Dubai airport please? How was it? TIAWorked like a charm.
While nothing special, definitely beats sitting around in those airport seats
