Hi

Does anyone know when FNB will have stock of the new MacBook Pro's?

Looking to get a 13 inch pro model.

I'm not sure how it all works exactly, but apparently you can go directly to an iStore and organise the deal in store?

Dude the iStore is a waste of time. Go to a Dot FNB rather. I went to an iStore waited 1hr to get told it was declined, walked to the Dot FNB was approved and done in 20min. This was at Eastgate BTW

Good to know, cheers.

This feels like a feeble attempt at bragging. I mean, even Captain Obvious could've told him to go to dot FNB to ask whether they have stock...

You need your green barcoded ID in order to apply through the iStore. They won't accept your license.

Went to DOT FNB in Cradlestone mall and was told they're out of stock... Tweeted RB Jacobs to enquire about when they expect to have stock but never received a reply.

Physical FNB store in some malls...
Note - does not handle any banking.

Oh, never seen one before.

I've emailed them about macbook stock before, they really don't appreciate it. The sales have no clue about model specifics.

Yup, tried to find out via twtr without luck. I reckon nest best is to just check website for when it shows

When i got my macbook right after it became available on FNB's site, I could not find any stock at a dot FNB. Sometimes the iStore is the only option.

got my Macbook from iStore through FNB. Walked in, applied and 3min later got sms to say approved, walked back and signed. got the device and went home. never looked back again. make sure get insurance or icare!!!

ok maybe looking back for a apple wired keyboard full numlock as well... that would work for me lol.

What is required ? ID and FNB account number?

Checked with the iStore... they have not unpacked the new ones(they have received it) and not on their stock list yet. i.e. the 2014/august released macbook pros. so yah i dunno who said u can get them there..

They said the eta is 1-4 weeks, though expectation is an announcement in the next 1-2 weeks. wrt getting via FNB Online, dot FNB store or iStore.. same difference ;) just depends on stock availability etc though iStore just awaits approval and gives stock so definitely would be faster if u approved.
