would really love to get an iPad or galaxy! will try my luck and win it 1st though ;)

Wont it still be cheaper to get the Galaxy s2 from mtn where you pay R300 pm and get 200 airtime value?

In theory MTN should be able to give you the AnyTime 200 account for 24 months without a phone for way less. If we assume MTN & FNB charges the same for the phone, then MTN should be able to give you the Anytime 200 at R300 - R225 = R75 a month.

I doubt that you will get it for this cheap, though.

I wish they could sell the iPhone 4 / 4S directly. I somehow feel better buying my phone over a 24 month period from FNB than through Vodacom.

Witout airtime value attached to this deals it makes no sense to get it from fnb

Why could they not have offered this BEFORE I took the iPad?

Depends on your needs, and what you getting. I got the Ipad from FNB, connecting it via ADSL's Wifi. If I need a connection on the road, enable the hotspot feature on my phone. A data bundle just for the Ipad would be a waste for me TBH.

you can buy the airtime - look out for the discounted packages - excluding phone.

MTN R200 can be had for between R60(not available any longer) and R120 at times, so yes it can be a great deal cheaper getting it via FNB.

I agree. These Samsung offers make no sense. No discounts like the first devices.

I'm still sad that I would have to change my pricing option in order to get one of these deals. I like not paying banking fees every month

Nice! Been hoping to get the Note through FNB. Also just wondering how this compares to the R379pm from Vodacom which comes with some data and minutes. cant find the link though?!

+1

I like the iPad, I just HATE iTunes and their dang backwards ways. The iPad is still an incredibly easy device to use, but I would have chosen the galaxy if it were on offer then.

I tried doing to price comparisons and I can't see that this price is any different from what you can get it new on Expansys or Bid or Buy, or am I missing something?
