Yep, a real sad bunch of people...I am astounded at the large number of things people don't like in general as well as the long lists of some individuals.

I love mushrooms but I've yet to find a decent sauce. They're all disgusting. Haven't bought Spur's yet though
how did you make it through 2 years national service?Jungle oats porridge is about all I REALLY can't eat. Those slippery lumps feel like I'm swallowing warm cotch![]()

Apparently I'm a terrible Saffer because I detest lamb and mutton. They both smell the same to me now, which is what puts me off: the pungent stench. It's not always them being fussy though. Food that tastes good to some people can taste bad/bitter for others, as there's a genetic component. Cilantro for example tastes like soap to people with certain genes. Similar thing with carrots. I find it quite interesting.

Liquorice is understandableApparently I'm a terrible Saffer because I detest lamb and mutton. They both smell the same to me now, which is what puts me off: the pungent stench.
It's worth noting that this only happened in the last 25 years as I used to love lamb chops, etc. But then the smell made me nauseous. Not sure what changed, though (for the record, I've always had a heightened sense of smell).
Liquorice is pretty much the same thing: I remember eating All Sorts as a kid, but then as soon as I hit adolescence, just the smell made me want to puke.
There's got to be a hundred chokka boats outside between here and j'bay right now.I grew up in Jeffrey's Bay and was force-fed that **** too much as a kid. Whenever I order it nowadays, I feel like my father is standing somewhere with his belt checking that I don't moer it in the bin
I dunno. But I loved itis that still available @gottagoon ?
i remember late 70s early 80s eating the brown and white version in the Hostel @ Union High School Graaff Reinet hostel days
