Force Telkom Mobile to MTN

Sorry if the title worded wrong but basically wanting to know how I can change the settings on wifes iPhone X running a Telkom Mobile Sim Card to only use MTN service?

Reception at home is perfect but when she travels more often than not she looses reception and me on MTN have full reception. I have heard this is possible to do so if someone can help that would be great.

Thanks bud. Thought it was that but just wanted to double check before making the change. Will give it a go and see how it works out.

Telkom roaming on MTN will only get 3G not 4G. In the country anyway where there are only MTN and VC towers.

It should go over to MTN automatically if she is out of Telkom coverage?

Interesting you say this, I am having my phone go flat too since porting to Telkom, it never did this ever whilst I was with CellC...iPhoneSE...Batt quality 98%

It's because the radio is working harder to keep the signal up. The better the signal the less battery usage, radiation and of course speeds.

I've had this setting for almost two years now. My reason was that it kept switching to a TM tower near my house with very poor reception. The MTN tower near my house has far better signal.
