Anyone know how to turn the park lights on (if any) on the New Ford Bantam?

I wasn't given the manual and ford is not exactly speed with replies to e-mails.

On the previous series, it was a knob at the end of the indicator stalk, IIRC. It has 2 settings, for "park" and "full"

Anyone know of a active 'Ford' online community where I could ask?

I've googled but those ones I found (checking first 2 pages) has been dead groups.

How many possible buttons can this ford bakkie have that you prevents you from trying each and every single one?

Maybe either post a pic here so we can help you or drive up to any other bantam owner and ask them.

That's the thing, I know i'm not a idiot.
It either has, or it doesn't.
I'm thinking now, it doesn't have the ability to do 'park' lights but so many people say it should.
It's not the end of the world, but I like to know how to do stuff with things I own etc.

Don't know Fords, but some cars you leave the lights on full, turn off ignition and then leave your indicator stork in left or right position, (whichever side you want the park lights on).

I think I found it... Ivork's suggestion ya.

I did what he suggested and in the headlights, there is a small 'bulb' that goes on.

However, it's sorta both sides (not 1 or the other)

I'm not sure if these are the 'park' lights (as it is DAY) but I'll check tonight.
I know they supposed to be very dim (which it seems it is)

If you bought it brand new, you must INSIST that they supply you with the owners manual... It is something you must have, and also where your service records are to be kept in...

Having sold new VW's for a number of years, this sort of question slays me!!

We would have been dead in the water if a salesperson had not delivered a car without going through EVERYTHING with the new owner. There is also NO excuse for not supplying a handbook, apart from bloody shoddy salesmanship!

VW park lights switch on if you leave an indicator switch down (R) or up (L) after switching off the ignition.

Guys, let's clear something up quickly, I do not have the handbook, however, I'm not the 'official' owner of the car, the car is a company car, however, it's basically my car as I have to look after it etc - I've asked my boss for the handbook, he just doesn't know where it is.

maybe try the fordstownerssa.co.za forum, as there is one or 2 ford dealers registered on there who shoudl be able to assist...

...and don't worry about not driving an st, as there are a few ford (non ST) drivers registered on tehre, including myself :)
