Ford Ecosport feedback please

In my opinion, I don't think that I will ever buy a Renault vehicle. The clios are pretty cars though but the french just doesn't do it for me

It’s all about how it’s maintained. My Megane RS Will clock 225k km by the end of the week

Forgot to share:

Purchased the Ford SA extended warranty for our 2015 EcoSport. Extended the warranty for an additional 3yrs and covers everything the original warranty did. Cost just under R9k including an inspection fee for the required bumper to bumper inspection before warranty extension can be approved.

Absolute no brainer in my books and now happy to keep the car until it turns 7yo. Haven't even reached 50k kilo's since purchasing.

Hello guys,

Long time since I asked for advice and info on the FORD ECOSPORT which was in April 2019. I pulled away from the ecosport / suv idea and got myself something else and it always happens with me in these situations haha. I am still very happy with what I decided on and it is still going strong .... VW POLO 1.2 TDI BLUEMOTION and at a decent price too. For me it is a big upgrade from a City Golf and some will say it is not as fast as that ... and that .... and that .... but if I want to have a little bit of fun now and then, I can put off the traction control and on the other hand normal drivng, the fuel consumption is very good.

Thank you everyone for insights and advice, but these are my wheels!

Compared to say a Duster, the boot space is certainly lacking, but the functionality and layout of the dash and controls is better, in my opinion of having driven both for long distances.

Dunno if the value is in there, but from my experience of driving the ecosport, it is up there with the datsun go as one of the worst cars I have ever driven.

Hated it too. The automatic gearbox is the worst auto i've ever driven. Really horrible to drive.

I agree the Duster interior is a bit odd, parts sourced from Nissan, Renault and Dacia so it's a bit of a mash-up.
That said, if I wanted the ride height I'd go duster, if that wasn't a priority I'd take the fiesta that the ecosport is based on.
